Experience That Makes a Difference

For more than 30 years, I've dedicated my professional life to helping young people recognize their strengths, explore opportunities, and build a path toward their future.

As a school counselor and basketball coach, I've worked closely with students and families through some of their most important decisions. I've seen firsthand how overwhelming the college process can become—and how much difference thoughtful, personalized guidance can make.

I founded Prep48 College Consulting because I believe families deserve access to meaningful college planning without the expense of traditional, high-priced consulting packages.

My approach goes beyond simply suggesting colleges. I look at each student's academic record, interests, goals, and financial considerations to identify realistic opportunities they may not have considered. The objective is to help families make informed decisions with greater confidence.

Whether a student is exploring career interests, building a college list, pursuing athletic opportunities, or searching for affordable options, my goal is the same: provide honest guidance, individualized research, and a practical plan for moving forward.

Every student has a story. My job is to help them find the opportunities that fit it.

Jamie Ryan
Founder, Prep48 College Consulting

Throughout my career, I've guided students both in the college planning process and on the basketball court. In both settings, my goal has been the same: helping young people recognize their strengths, build confidence, and prepare for what comes next.

Coaching has taught me the value of preparation, honest feedback, and having a clear plan. Those same principles guide my work at Prep48, where every recommendation is tailored to the individual student.

Whether a student is exploring college athletics or simply searching for the right academic and financial fit, my commitment is to help families discover realistic opportunities and make informed decisions.
